In memory of the founder of The Danish Pipe Shop, Mr. Steffen Nielsen, the tobacco blender has made a fantastic mixture in cooperation with the staff of The Danish Pipe Shop. The blend is naturally called: Mr. Nielsen. Steffen Nielsen loved red wine, coffee, truffle chocolate and when he smoked pipe he liked a little latakia and oriental (Rattray Red Rapparee). So this is a pretty aromatic tobacco with a spicy twist which is well hidden in the excellent aroma. The blend is made with mild Virginias, cavendish, oriental and a pinch of Latakia. It has a wonderful aroma of redwine, vanilla, chocolate and almond. Mr. Nielsen is a three fase experience: 1st you get the aromatic flavour but realize its not as aromatic as it smells. Then you get the spicy taste and finally you get a powerful hit and find out its a full tobacco. The strength is medium and according to the tobacco blender its quite similar to another My Own Blend mixture called Spitfire.
