Hearth & Home Signature Anniversary Kake- We wanted to celebrate the 1st anniversary of the Hearth & Home tobaccos with a special blend, and due to a fortunate accident, we were able to create this one. We ordered a blending Virginia that we expected to be all Red, but it turned out to be a mixture of everything from lemon through brown, and when we opened the bag, the aroma was amazing. We were able to order more of this tobacco, and then we combined it with Acadian Perique (a good amount), heat-treated and pressed it. The result is a smooth, flavorful cake with a mouth-watering chocolate and fig pouch aroma.

The old-fashioned burley taste comes through in full form, nutty and brisk, hitting on tangy notes along the way as the Virginia components catch on. Theres not enough Latakia to provide any more than perhaps a seasoning effect.

Hearth & Home Signature Daybreak was developed by request from our friends at the New York Pipe Club during the time that Dunhill tobaccos werent available in the US. Its inspired by Early Morning Pipe, but is not intended as a copy. A base of sweet Virginias with a moderated amount of Orientals and Cyprian Latakia measured out with a light hand make up this all-day English blend. Daybreak has been one of our best sellers now for years.
